Editorial Standards
This page documents how content on iGamingXpert is produced, so readers can calibrate their trust and hold us to our own rules.
Sourcing
Regulatory claims cite regulators — the UKGC, MGA, CGA and national authorities — not secondary coverage. Market-practice claims come from direct operational experience in iGaming affiliate management; where something is estimate or opinion, the sentence says so. Numbers that move (rates, fees, policy specifics) are dated in context, and where a figure is a working industry band rather than a verifiable statistic, we present it as exactly that.
Experience, not aggregation
Our content standard is operational usefulness: articles are written from the practitioner’s chair — what we’ve run, audited, negotiated and broken — not assembled from the top ten search results. Where our experience is thin, we either say so or don’t publish.
Tools and authorship
We use modern writing and research tools, including AI assistance, the way we use spreadsheets: as instruments. Every published piece is directed, verified and edited by the named author, who is accountable for its claims. Nothing ships on autopilot, and no article is published that the byline couldn’t defend in a conference-hall argument.
Corrections and maintenance
Errors get corrected in place with a dated note. “Last updated” changes only with substantive updates — never as a freshness costume. Regulation-sensitive pages are reviewed on a rolling calendar. Spotted something stale or wrong? Tell us — corrections make the resource better and we credit meaningful catches.
Commercial relationships
iGamingXpert is a commercial product; the content exists because useful reference material earns trust for the platform behind it. We don’t publish pay-to-play placements in editorial content, and if that ever changes, the placements will be labeled unmistakably.
Responsible coverage
We write for industry professionals, but gambling content travels. Player-facing topics carry responsible-gambling context, we don’t frame gambling as income anywhere, and our glossary defines the industry’s player-protection machinery — self-exclusion, safer-gambling tools, ADR — with the same care as its commercial terms.
