Accumulator / Parlay

A single bet combining multiple selections — all must win, odds multiply, and so does the bookmaker's margin.

Accumulators (parlays) multiply selections’ odds into one ticket: four 1.80 picks pay 10.5x — if every leg lands.

Why books love them

Margin compounds per leg: four legs at 5% margin each embed ~19% total margin, triple a straight bet’s. Add correlation mispricing in same-game parlays and the product is the most profitable shelf in the shop — hence boosted-parlay promos everywhere. Honest content quantifies the compounding; the recreational case (small stakes, big dreams, entertainment priced accordingly) is legitimate when stated plainly.
