Cookieless Tracking

Attribution methods that don't depend on browser cookies — server-side IDs, first-party storage, fingerprinting or deterministic matching.

Cookieless tracking is the umbrella term for attribution that survives a world where third-party cookies are dead and even first-party cookies are capped by Safari and Firefox.

The practical stack in iGaming

Click IDs persisted server-side (the S2S model) carry most of the load; promo codes and deterministic matches on registration data cover the gaps; probabilistic fingerprinting fills edges but carries GDPR risk if run without a lawful basis. Programs that still lean on cookie-based last-click quietly lose attribution on Safari within days — and the affiliates notice before the operator does.
