Responsible Gambling (RG)
The framework of policies, tools and marketing duties aimed at preventing gambling-related harm.
Responsible gambling spans product features (limits, reality checks, self-exclusion), operational duties (harm-marker monitoring, interaction obligations) and marketing constraints (no targeting vulnerable groups, mandatory RG messaging).
Affiliate-side obligations are real
Regulated-market advertising rules bind affiliate content too: age gates or labels, RG messaging and helpline references, no “gambling as income” framing, no bonus presentations that hide material terms. Programs push these duties down via terms and monitoring because regulators push them down via liability. Treating RG blocks as SEO dead weight misreads the landscape — their absence is what gets pages (and the operators they promote) reported.
