Age Verification

Confirming players meet the legal gambling age before they can play — increasingly before they can even browse freely.

Age verification blocks minors: document or database checks at registration, with stricter regimes requiring completion before any play or deposit.

Beyond the checkbox

Modern rules extend to marketing: content and channels with strong youth appeal are restricted regardless of stated targeting, affiliate sites in some markets need age interstitials, and social-platform gambling ads carry age-targeting floors. Underage-gambling findings are license-threatening in a way few violations are — the operational bar is verification that actually works, not terms-page declarations that players “must be 18+.”
