Bet Margin

Revenue as a percentage of stakes — realized margin per product, the analytics bridge between turnover and earnings.

Bet margin (GGR/turnover) states what the book or casino kept per unit staked: slots run near house edge by design; sports margins oscillate with results around the overround.

Analyst applications

Product-mix steering (margin × volume per vertical), promotion accounting (bonus-boosted play compresses realized margin), and forecast normalization (sports “hold-adjusted” reporting). For affiliate programs on revenue models, margin variance explains commission volatility that volume metrics don’t — a bad-results sports month cuts commissions with zero change in traffic quality, a distinction worth a chart in the partner newsletter before partners ask.
