Dormancy Clause

A terms provision reducing or ending commissions for affiliates who stop sending new traffic for a defined period.

Dormancy clauses qualify “lifetime” revshare: send no new players for 3–6 months and ongoing commissions drop or stop, reclassifying the affiliate as inactive.

Both readings are true

Operator’s: lifetime revshare pays for a living partnership, not a 2019 link’s pension. Affiliate’s: it’s a confiscation trigger aimed at exactly the passive income the program advertised. The market compromise is disclosure and moderation — clearly stated windows, commission reduction rather than seizure, and reactivation on resumed activity. Affiliates comparing programs should read for this clause specifically; it changes the asset value of every player they refer.
