NGR (Net Gaming Revenue)

Gross gaming revenue after deducting bonuses, payment fees, gaming taxes and agreed costs — the base most affiliate revshare is calculated on.

NGR is GGR with the costs of generating it removed: bonus and free-spin costs, payment processing, chargebacks, gaming taxes, and often an admin fee.

The definition is the negotiation

Every program defines NGR slightly differently, and each deduction shifts real money: bonus-heavy brands can deduct 40%+ of GGR before the affiliate’s percentage touches anything. Affiliates: get the deduction list itemized in the agreement and sanity-check monthly statements against it. Operators: an NGR breakdown visible in the affiliate portal preempts the single most common trust dispute in the industry.
