A deposit-match offer for existing players — the retention counterpart to the welcome bonus.
Reload bonuses re-incentivize deposits after the honeymoon: smaller matches (25–50%) on subsequent deposits, weekly or event-tied, with the usual wagering apparatus.
Why they matter to partner economics
Retention offers extend player lifetimes — which is the whole value of revshare deals. Affiliates on revenue share benefit directly from a brand that reloads well; affiliates on pure CPA don’t care, which is one more quiet way deal type shapes which brands affiliates favor. Program managers pitching revshare partnerships should be able to talk retention calendar, not just welcome offer.
