SMS Marketing

Text-message promotion — the highest-attention, highest-regulated channel in the gambling mix.

SMS lands with near-total open rates and correspondingly strict rules: explicit channel consent, sender-ID and content constraints by country, quiet hours in some regimes.

Deployment doctrine

Reserve SMS for high-value moments (deposit-match windows, event-day offers, reactivation of consented lapsed players) — frequency abuse burns the channel and triggers complaints regulators act on. Gambling SMS from unregistered senders or to unconsented numbers is fined enforcement’s low-hanging fruit across markets. Operationally: consent flags per channel in the CRM, suppression sync, and carrier-filtering awareness (gambling terms trip carrier blocks; approved sender registration is the fix where offered).
