APM (Alternative Payment Methods)

Everything that isn't a card — wallets, bank schemes, vouchers, mobile money, crypto — often the majority of gambling volume by market.

APMs cover the non-card universe, and “alternative” is a misnomer in markets where local methods dominate: bank schemes in Northern Europe, vouchers where anonymity or unbanked populations matter, mobile money in emerging markets.

Localization is the whole game

Cashier composition is a per-market product decision — the conversion difference between offering and lacking the local default method is decisive, not incremental. APM sprawl costs reconciliation and vendor-management overhead, which orchestration platforms exist to absorb. Affiliate insight: deposit-method availability by GEO belongs in serious brand reviews; players search for it explicitly.
