Program Migration

Moving an affiliate program between tracking platforms while preserving links, player attribution and commission continuity.

Platform migration is open-heart surgery on a running program: existing tracking links must keep resolving, historical player-affiliate mappings must survive, and revshare continuity must hold through the cutover.

Where migrations fail

Broken legacy links (fix: permanent redirect maps), lost player attribution (fix: full player-affiliate export verified against the old system before cutover), and silent deal-term translation errors between platforms’ commission engines (fix: parallel-run both systems for one settlement cycle and reconcile). Affiliates judge the migration by one thing — did their numbers survive — and programs that botch it spend years rebuilding trust.
