Click-to-Reg Rate

Registrations divided by clicks — the first conversion ratio, measuring landing-page fit and traffic intent together.

Click-to-reg measures how many arriving visitors become accounts, typically single-digit percentages varying enormously by source and market.

Diagnostic use

Sudden drops isolate to: tracking breakage (check first), landing mismatch (offer changed?), traffic-mix shifts (new placement, new GEO), or bot dilution. Comparing sources on click-to-reg alone misleads — bonus-hunter traffic registers eagerly and deposits never — so read it paired with downstream rates. For affiliates, their own click-to-reg by placement (via SubIDs) is the optimization loop: moving a link’s context can double the rate without touching traffic volume.
