Master Affiliate

An affiliate who manages a downline of sub-affiliates, earning overrides on their production — a mini-network inside the program.

Master affiliates recruit and manage other affiliates, taking an override on downline earnings. For programs entering markets where they lack contacts and language, a strong master is instant distribution.

Control the delegation

The program is still liable for the downline’s marketing conduct in regulated markets — masters concentrate recruiting, not compliance responsibility. Require declared identities and traffic sources for every sub-account (no anonymous chains), cap depth at one level, and audit whether override flows match real recruitment or shells. A good master relationship includes them enforcing your compliance rules downstream; put that duty in their agreement explicitly.
